Deltech a lunch sponsor

Deltech Furnaces will be the lunch sponsor at the upcoming Family for Families golf tournament to be held at Hyland Hills Golf Course on October 7, 2024. The purpose is to raise funds for the Employee Assistance Program.

Through its Employee Assist Hardship Fund, Family for Families provides financial relief in times of crisis. Qualifying events include illness, injury, personal hardship, natural and other disasters such as fires, and death.

According to event co-chair Josh Filson of Coors Tek in Golden Colorado, “Family for Families is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which benefits team members of Coors Family-owned and operated businesses who may be facing financial hardships. Significant life events, such as unexpected medical emergencies, the loss of an immediate family member, natural disasters, or personal hardships can place employees and their families in challenging situations. Family for Families offers temporary financial support during these critical times when relief is most needed.”

Family for Families provides assistance to several other member companies as well. All proceeds from the golf tournament will be donated to the fund. Click here for more information about the tournament including location, cost, and details of the event.

The Deltech Furnaces team has long participated in various forms of community service, including:

• Corporate financial contributions to the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation of the American Ceramic Society
• Employee Service as a board member and committee member of the Ceramic and Glass Industry Foundation
• Corporate financial support and participation in the Career Expo aimed at middle school students and the Classroom to Career Symposium events organized by the Adams County Education Consortium
• Corporate financial support of Food for Hope, a nonprofit which provides food to Adams County families through school distribution centers
• Establishment by the Stevenson family of an endowed scholarship to serve students in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering programs at Montana Tech
• Service as a board member for Manufacturer’s Edge, our Colorado MEP sponsored in part by NIST
• Participating in annual scholarship review for the Front Range Community College Foundation
• Serving as a grant reviewer for the Broomfield Colorado Community Foundation
