Do you know “Robocasting”?

Robocasting Enterprises, LLC was born out of the Technology Transfer program at Sandia National Laboratories. The company uses the technique called “robocasting” – 3D printing via particulate pastes – created by former Sandia research scientist and company founder, Dr. Joe Cesarano III.

Their products include ceramic and composite components, often involving challenging geometries. The company is ISO 9001:2000 compliant.

The organization incorporated in 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. One of their first equipment acquisitions was a Deltech lab scale top hat furnace. Others were purchased over the years, and recently co-founder John Stuecker was kind enough to send us pictures of all of their “Deltechs”.

Moreover, Deltech is currently building a tunnel kiln for the company. This small scale production furnace will help enable Robocasting to further increase their production capacity for new and larger product lines.

Both Robocasting and Deltech are corporate members of the American Ceramic Society, and both companies will be exhibiting at the upcoming Ceramics Expo U.S.A., the only expo aimed at ceramics and glass manufacturers and featuring free admission and educational programs.

Robocasting can be found in booth 318, and Deltech in booth 340.

All Deltech furnace systems are designed and manufactured in the U.S.A, and shipped and installed worldwide.
