Quick Start Information for Temperature Controllers

Quick Start Information for Temperature Controllers

Good news! We’ve recently posted Quick Start, Autotuning, and Sample Programming guides for the Eurotherm 3504 temperature controller in our Tutorials section. The 3504 is most often the controller supplied with our furnace control systems unless you request a different model.

Setup guides are also posted for the West N6701 and the Future Design Controls L-91 overtemperature protection controllers.

Note that for the Eurotherm 3504, there are a variety of guides for controllers with no events, multiple events, and different thermocouple types. The guides for the West N6701 are available for different thermocouple types. There is only a single guide for the Future Design Controls L-91; it covers all thermocouple types.

While every controller is supplied with the manufacturer’s operating manual, using our guides to learn how to execute basic setup and operating procedures can save you a great deal of time and frustration.
