Export-Import Bank visitors
Rita Jo Lewis, Esq and members of her team visited Deltech Furnaces in April, 2023. Ms. Lewis is President and Chair of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Deltech uses the Ex-Im export insurance program to insure our foreign receivables against loss.
Chair Lewis and her team were eager to hear about our history of export sales, export growth trends, and how we had benefited from the insurance coverage and other Export-Import bank resources. They asked many questions during the facility tour as well about our products, business processes and practices, and the challenges of surviving and thriving as a small company for 55 years and counting.
The Export-Import Bank foreign receivables insurance policies are administered by brokers who are approved by the Ex-Im bank. In our experience, the insurance agents also provide excellent assistance and guidance to their small business clients. From making application for coverage to acquainting us with use of the web portal to report shipments, our broker has continued to provide assistance.
Deltech Furnaces has experienced significant growth in export sales in recent years, fueled in part by the addition of custom rotary tube furnaces to our product line. These small-scale units are popular for proof-of-concept and other pilot scale projects. Click here to learn more about these custom designed and built furnace systems. Contact our engineering team to discuss your application requirements. We are glad to work under a non-disclosure agreement as needed.
Deltech is a family owned small business incorporated in 1968. Members of the Stevenson family are part of the day-to-day operations in management, sales, engineering, and production.
