Which bench top model is best for you?
Our director of Sales, Design, and Engineering prepared this tutorial to help someone unfamiliar with the world of bench top laboratory furnaces decide on the best model for their applications. All three are easy to operate and maintain and have features which facilitate different kinds of thermal processing, whether for research or product manufacturing purposes. Their versatility means that the same furnace can be used even if products or processes change over time.
All are available in models for sustained operation at temperatures up to 1800 degrees Celsius; in standard sizes; in custom configurations. And they can be supplied as “atmosphere envelopes” if your process requires inert atmospheres. UL508A compliant control systems as certified by Intertek.
Here’s what our expert has to say:
Deltech offers three main bench top furnace designs for batch heating: Front Load, Bottom Load, and Top Hat. Each has advantages and disadvantages in comparison to each other. A general list is shown below but please contact Deltech (303-433-5939) for any specific questions about how one of these furnaces will work with your process.
